Terms of Service
1. Quotations
All written quotations provided by Mirfield Mill Carpets Ltd are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. After this period, prices may be subject to change due to fluctuations in material costs from our manufacturers.
2. Payment Terms
Please refer specifically to your individual quote and subsequent invoice for payment milestones and methods. Work is scheduled upon agreement of these terms.
3. Bespoke Goods & Cancellations
As carpets and many flooring types are cut specifically to your room dimensions (bespoke goods), they are exempt from standard return policies once the material has been cut. Cancellations made after materials have been prepared may incur a charge.
4. Warranties
All products are covered by the specific Manufacturer’s Warranty. Mirfield Mill Carpets Ltd ensures all installations are carried out to the highest professional standards.
5. Customer Responsibilities (Draft for Team Comment)
To ensure a smooth and professional installation, we kindly ask our customers to note the following responsibilities:
- Room Preparation: Unless otherwise agreed in writing, rooms must be clear of all furniture, appliances, and breakable items before the fitters arrive.
-
Existing Flooring: Please ensure old carpets or flooring have been uplifted and removed, and the sub-floor is clean and swept, unless a removal service was included in your quote.
-
Doors: New flooring is often thicker than old material. It is the customer’s responsibility to arrange for doors to be planed or trimmed if they do not clear the new floor height.
-
Utilities: Please ensure there is adequate lighting and power available in the rooms where work is being performed.
-
Hidden Hazards: Please inform our team of any hidden underfloor pipes or cables (e.g., underfloor heating or alarm wires) prior to installation.
