Our Grand Opening...
On Saturday 20th September 2014 Mirfield Mill Carpets hosted its 'Grand Opening' Ceremony. Over 60 specially invited guests turned up to celebrate the official launch of Mirfield's latest carpet showroom.
Amongst those attending was the Emmerdale star, Chris Chittell, the actor who plays Eric Pollard in the tv series, who was very happy to mingle and chat with guests. Chris also presented a bouquet of flowers to Mirfield Mill Carpets first customer, Mrs. Susan Crumpton.
The Grange Moor Brass Band were also in attendance and blasted out some real favourties for the crowd.
Graham Ervine, owner of Mirfield Mill Carpets, gave an emotional speech about how proud he was to be opening the showroom. The highlight of the 'Grand Opening' was the cutting of the cermonial ribbon, which was carried out by Graham's mother, Elizabeth.
A great ceremony, a great day and a great start for Mirfield Mill Carpets...
